This Blog

Most of the time UML modellers are left to their own devices after their training is complete. Often their experience remains within the manner of use in the organizations they work and never expands beyond the ordinary to the truly useful, the magical and the wondrous.

This blog will discuss UML usage and how it strategically benefits the organizations within which it is deployed and hopefully will inspire UML modellers to look at the UML from different points of view. It contains my thoughts, opinions, rantings and ravings and hopefully your views and opinions as well.

I have been a UML modeller, trainer, student and occasional abuser of the UML language since its inception in 1997. Despite this I remain a great fan of the notation and hope to share some of my enthusiasm with you.

You may be concerned about the blog being moderated. This is done to keep away the usual spammers, advertisers and less than honest promotors. Other than this, the information you choose to share with us will not be abused.

And so the journey of a thousand steps starts with this one....
